Twenty-four hour event finished at midday
A 24-hour fundraising marathon for Cancer Research UK has drawn to a close at the NSC in Douglas this lunchtime.
Around 1,000 people took part in the 2016 Relay for Life, which started at noon on Saturday in bright sunshine.
Walkers continued through torrential rain overnight, with the field inside the track serving as a campsite for teams and their supporters.
Several hundred people cheered home a team of cancer survivors who led the final lap.
Last year's event raised more than £120,000 for the charity.
Logistics organiser Johnny Sayle says those taking part were dedicated to the cause:

Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
First risk assessment on proliferation financing published
