Skilled professionals given old-fashioned Island view
A leading figure in the Island's tech sector says government must do more to attract skilled professionals.
The Manx ICT Association's Chief Executive Kurt Roosen says young workers are being put off relocating here by the slow pace of innovation in day-to-day life.
That's despite a need for some 500 extra workers per year, to plug a skills gap in the growing e-Gaming and e-Business industries.
Mr Roosen is calling on the public sector to lead the way with a more 'ambitious, joined up' Digital Strategy:
