31-year-old denies committing offence
A man who’s been accused of grabbing his girlfriend around the throat during an argument has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
Edward McBride, of no fixed address, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he denied committing domestic abuse between July and September at a property in Castletown.
A pre-trial review will take place on 18 January.
Bail was refused and the 31-year-old will next appear in court on 30 November.
Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 30 November a bail application was refused and he was further remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until 7 December.
