31-year-old has bail application refused
A Barnsley man has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison after being accused of attempting to remove £47,000 in criminal cash.
Sam Kenneth Leigh, of Brow Close, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today (29 September).
The 31-year-old allegedly had the criminal property, in the Volvo he was driving, when police stopped him at the Sea Terminal on 25 September.
Magistrates refused an application for bail and he will next appear in court on 13 October.
