Four displays on the Island this evening
November the fifth will be marked with organised displays in the north, south and east of the Island on Saturday evening.
Ramsey’s are due to start at 7.30pm on the Mooragh Lake island, preceded by a lights and laser show.
Down south, there’ll be a display on Port Erin beach at the same time, while Laxey fire station will host its own from 7pm.
In Douglas, judging for the best guy competition takes place at 7.30pm, before a fireworks display on the beach, set to music, at 7.45pm – with its soundtrack being broadcast live on Manx Radio.
Mark Caley of the community fire safety team hopes people have a safe and fun night.
