Those not on electoral register forced to step down
The head of the Island's Municipal Association says common sense should have prevailed over the issue of local authority members not on the electoral register.
Commissioners and council members who have been found to no longer be on the register are being removed from their positions.
Municipal Association President Kevin Weir, who's also a Castletown commissioner, says the situation could have been handled much better:
