Minister says it would be wrong to replace facility with similar size mill
It would be wrong to build a new mill on the same scale as the existing facility.
Clare Barber, the minister responsible for the Island's food sector, says plans to construct a new mill at the site of the current structure in Laxey have been under consideration for some time.
Around 80 per cent of the mills produce is used by Ramsey Bakery which is closing down at the end of this month.
