The infrastructure minister's labelled findings in a report on the Island's regional swimming pools 'important'.
UK consultants Knight Kavanagh and Page blamed a lack of government oversight and governance for the reason some of the pools suffered financial challenges.
They suggested government take over the running of three regional pools.
In January, the education minister will ask Tynwald's approval to transfer the pools into her department's ownership - creating regional sports hubs
