Restrictions on domestic water use to remain in place
The long spell of hot, dry weather may be over - but a hosepipe ban remains in place.
That's the latest from Manx Utilities.
Authority Chair, Dr Alex Allinson, says the ban, combined with recent rainfall, has stabilised water levels in the Island's reservoirs.
Water usage has dropped by 10% since the ban was brought in at the start of August.
However, the restrictions are set to remain in place until the long term weather forecast can be assessed.
Manx Utilities says MU Chair Dr Alex Allinson says the situation still needs to be carefully monitored.
