Southlands in Port Erin has closed its doors to visitors, for the time being.
There has been a small outbreak of the Noro, or winter vomiting, virus, and to stop it spreading the authorities have suspended visiting to the residential home.
The health advice remains the same - if you are suffering from vomiting and/or diarrhoea, do not visit care homes or the hospital until at least 48 hours after you have recovered.
The disease is self-limiting and symptoms subside in two to three days.
