Jack, Juan and Sam climbed Africa's tallest mountain to raise funds
More than £6,000 has been raised for a mental health charity by three Island residents who succeeded in their attempt to climb Africa's tallest mountain.
Jack, Juan and Sam began the expedition towards the beginning of October, which was completed over an eight-day period.
They joined other people from across the world and described the attempt as one of the 'most demanding challenges' they'd undertaken.
Their initial fundraising target was set at £5,895 - one pound for every metre climbed - but have since smashed the target and nearly £6,500 will be donated to Isle Listen.
