Public turn out in force at meeting over issue
'Horrendous' and 'awful' were some of the words used by residents last night (1 March) to describe stopping overnight camping at Sulby Claddagh.
Individuals and businesses made a big turnout to a public meeting at the Sulby Glen Hotel on Wednesday to address politicians over the decision to halt overnight stays for 2023 at the site.
Government now says it'll explore options to reopen overnight camping at the site for the TT period and potentially more of the remainder of the season.
But concerns remain about the impact the decision will have right now as well as how government communicated the move.
