Ashford says more than half of returns already received
The minister for the cabinet office says the response to the recent census has, so far, been "exceptionally good".
David Ashford says more than 45,000 activation codes have been issued in letters to households to allow completion of returns.
In the nine days following census night, 607 paper returns had also been received.
On 26 April, households were asked to count everyone in the property to help government understand the size, age range and other characteristics of the Manx population.
Letters sent to homes asked for details of how to complete the survey online.
