Parking to be suspended in work areas
Resurfacing work is set to take place on the promenade in Douglas from Friday 18th November.
The Department of Infrastructure has announced that a 10mph speed limit will be put in place between Castlemona Avenue and the junction at the Palace Hotel, with parking suspended on both sides of the road.
This section of work is due to be completed by Sunday 27th November
Further work is then planned from the Palace to the bottom of Summer Hill - again parking will be suspended with a 10mph speed limit in place.
This work will be from Saturday 26th November until Sunday 4th December or until the resurfacing work has been completed.
