The team behind a new residents and traders group has postponed its first official gathering.
Castletown Residents’ and Traders’ Association was launched last month in a bid ‘to represent and advance the best interests of the town’.
It was due to hold its first public meeting at St Mary’s on the Harbour tomorrow evening (Tuesday) but that will now be rescheduled in the New Year.
There is already a long established Chamber of Trade in the town.
Although the initial area of concern for RETA was Callow’s Yard, issues such as flood defences, housing and youth facilities have all gained attention.
