Deemster warns people not to speculate on social media

The conviction of a man accused of causing death by dangerous driving on the Isle of Man has been quashed and a retrial has been ordered.
37-year-old Jackson Paul was found guilty of the offence at Douglas Courthouse in February last year but appealed against the verdict.
Judge of Appeal Anthony Cross said the Staff of Government, the island's court of appeal, "formed the view that the appeal should be allowed and a retrial should be ordered".
The deemster urged people not to speculate on social media and said he would "not hesitate to take action" if anyone acts in contempt of the court.
A date for the re-trial has not yet been set.
