Howard Quayle stops short of independent inquiry
The Chief Minister has confirmed he’s ordered another internal review into the confusion over self-isolation rules for the Steam Packet.
However Howard Quayle has stopped short of making it an independent inquiry.
Instead he is asking the chief secretary to look into the direction notices issued to the publicly owned company.
Asked if the Cabinet Office had been ‘asleep at the wheel’ Mr Quayle said government would learn from this:

Overnight sailings cancelled due to adverse weather
Rapist who 'terrorised' his victim told his sentence was 'entirely justified'
Complaints process for health system changed
Discovery of oiled birds 'makes a mockery of our biosphere status'
Charges now in place for those sending parcels to the EU
