Limited 'yes' to proposal from govt
A review of the upper tiers of the Manx civil service will take place if Tynwald says 'yes' at its sitting this month.
It's proposed there should be an independent examination, from Executive Officer level and above, of its size and structure, and a pay comparison drawn with other 'appropriate' groups both on the Island and elsewhere.
It comes after repeated requests for a complete civil service overview from, amongst others, the Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
