A big recruitment drive to find volunteers willing to offer their time and efforts to Manx charities and voluntary groups gets underway in Douglas this morning (Saturday).
Around 30 organisations are taking part in what's planned as a fun event at the Sefton Hotel Garden Room.
Bringing a range of groups together offers potential recruits a chance to gather information on different opportunities - and meet those involved with the charities - all in one place.
Last year's event was based on speed dating, this year the theme is happy families, with the message - come and join our happy family of volunteers!
Organiser Alison Lester says the new approach will keep the event fresh:
The event at the Sefton in Douglas opens at 10am and goes on until 2pm.
