Town and country meet at farmer's market
Manx farmers and food and drink producers have been doing good business at a landmark farmer's market in Douglas today (1 July).
They're celebrating the 10th anniversary of a project which connects producers with consumers, reaching the public at regular markets in towns and villages around the Island.
There was a party atmosphere under the Villa Marina colonnades in Douglas, where stall-holders offered a diverse range of locally grown, bottled, baked, packed and crafted produce - from goats meat to speciality tea.
The markets began in the Island in 2007, to encourage farmers to diversify, and to persuade the Manx public of the benefits of supporting local growers and producers.
The celebration market goes on until 3pm.
