Richmond Hill closed after road traffic collision

UPDATE - The road has now reopened

UPDATE 3:35PM:

Richmond Hill and the surrounding roads have now reopened after the earlier crash.

Police have confirmed the collision involved two vehicles, with minor injuries reported at the scene.

Police are responding to a road traffic collision on Richmond Hill.

As a result, the road is currently closed between Fort North roundabout and Ballacutchel Road (Mount Murray Back Road) to deal with the incident.

To relieve congestion, officers are preventing vehicles travelling along Ballacutchel Road (Mount Murray Back Road) from the Braaid Side.

It is operating as one way from the Santon side at the top of Richmond Hill to the Braaid.

Motorists are being advised to take alternative routes.
