Road closed for draingage work
Motorists are being warned that a section of Castletown Road is going to be closed to vehicles late at night this week (w/c 10 Sept)
The road will be shut from its junction with Ballacutchel Road, by the entrance to Mount Murray, up to its junction with the Spring Valley Crossroads.
That notice will be in force from 8pm until midnight on Tuesday (11 Sep), Wednesday (12) and Thursday (13).
It's so drainage maintenance work can be completed on Richmond Hill.
Access to properties will be maintained, and emergency services, public works vehicles and those with the permission of the department will still be able to use the carriageway.
