
The man who died following a collision on Richmond Hill in the early hours of Saturday morning has been officially named by police.
He was Robert James Campbell, a 31-year-old from Santon who taught PE at St Ninian's High School.
Police inquiries into the collision are continuing.
Officers say a number of people have come forward as a result of the previous appeal for witnesses and police would like to thank the public for their response.
They are continuing their appeal for anyone who saw a pedestrian in the vicinity of Richmond Hill between 12.30am and 1.10am on Saturday to come forward.
A Facebook tribute page for Mr Campbell whiich was set up over the weekend has already attracted over 2,500 'likes'.
