A 30-mile an hour speed limit on one of the Island's busiest routes is to stay in place - for the time being.
The limit was lowered while the northbound carriageway of Richmond Hill in Braddan was resurfaced - but drivers expected that to revert to 50mph now the works are complete.
It's because the new surface needs time to consolidate and bed-down.
The hill has been the scene of a number of serious accidents in recent months - and police are concerned at the speed taken by drivers around the bend.
