Crash occurred shortly after midday on Monday
A visiting motorcyclist was flown away for treatment following what's being described as a 'serious' incident on the Mountain Road yesterday (22 August).
The 50 year-old male, from Germany, sustained head injuries when his bike collided with a car shortly after midday.
Police kept the route closed for several hours.
The Mountain Road is currently open, and two-way to all traffic.
