Competitor 'conscious and talking' after incident at 11th Milestone
A rider has been taken to hospital following a red flag incident during this evening's Senior TT Race.
Race Control says the red flag was issued due to an incident at the 11th Milestone.
The rider involved, at the time of this update, is reported as 'conscious and talking' and has been taken to Noble's Hospital via Airmed for further assessment and treatment.
It has also been confirmed that the race will not be restarted this evening (5 June).
The Clerk of the Course says that once management of the incident concludes, the available time remaining within the road closure period would not permit a restart of the Senior TT over a four-lap distance.
As a result, the race will be rescheduled to tomorrow (6 June) and a revised schedule will be issued in due course.
