Yellow weather warning issued by Ronaldsway Met Office
A yellow weather warning has been issued by Ronaldsway Met Office due to road surfaces being at risk of freezing overnight.
Forecasters say the risk of icy patches will continue until 9am tomorrow (28 February).
There will be largely clear skies tonight (27 February) with the north-westerly wind falling light.
But road surface temperatures are expected to remain close to, or fall slightly below, freezing giving a risk of frost or icy patches forming on untreated surfaces, particularly where roads remain damp or wet from any previous showers or run-off.
Other areas at risk include those not exposed to the light north-westerly backing westerly breeze.
The warning is in place from 6pm.
