The operations manager at Peel lifeboat station has received an award at the annual meeting of the RNLI in London.
Allen Corlett, who has long been manager at the Peel station, has received a bar to go with his existing gold badge.
The citation Allen received describes him as: 'greatly respected within the Isle of Man business community and, as well as dilligently managing the lifeboat station for many years, regularly promotes the work of the RNLI on the Island'.
