Increase in callouts and lives saved during 200th anniversary year
The RNLI says the 53 people it helped in 2024 might have ended up drowning if it wasn't for the support of the Island's lifeboats.
Crews around the Isle of Man experienced a busier year last year compared to 2023, with 40 callouts compared to 31.
Thanks to those rescue operations four lives were saved.
