The road will be closed for some time
Police are currently dealing with a two vehicle road traffic collision on Main Road in St Johns.
The road is currently closed between the junctions of Ballacraine Traffic lights and the St Johns Crossroads.
Crews from the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service are also on the scene who say they've extricated one casualty from the van.
People are being urged to avoid the area as it's understood the road will be closed for some time.
Update at 9.30: the road has re-opened.
