Ramsey Town Commissioners have closed a road in the section of Parliament Street.
The closure will be place until 4pm - when the high winds will have eased.
The commissioners say it's an emergency closure, between Tower Street and Market Hill and it's due to loose roof tiles on a building adjacent to Cannell's Lane.
