Work taking place from 10-31 January
Resurfacing work will see a series of closures along a main road into Douglas throughout January.
A one way-system will be in place at Braddan Bridge, on Peel Road, from the direction of Peel during the week but will be closed at weekends.
The work, which includes the Jubilee Oak roundabout, will be done in phases from 10 - 31 January.
The Department of Infrastructure says it appreciates the work is being carried out on 'one of the most heavily trafficked routes on the Island and will have some impact on journey times.'
But it says the approach it's taking will mitigate the impact on people using Noble's Hospital, commuters, school buses and nearby businesses as much as possible,
Access to Nobles Hospital will be maintained at all times.
