A near three-week long road improvement scheme begins on Alexandra Road in Castletown tomorrow.
It's set to be finished by September 14.
The initial drainage work will be done using temporary lights to control the traffic, with one lane being kept open to traffic.
Then, from Monday, September 3 re-surfacing works will be carried out under evening road closures.
They'll be in operation from Monday to Friday, 4.30pm to midnight, between Alexandra Bridge and Malew Road.
The diversion is via Malew Road, Cross Four Ways and Ballasalla.
The DoI says the work will replace collapsed highway drains outside Canada Life and the worn out road surface.
