
Major roadworks which are due to start in Douglas today are expected to cause disruption and delays to traffic, particularly during rush hour.
Johnny Watterson's Lane was scheduled to close at 6am, between Hailwood Avenue and Campion Way, and is due to remain so for up to ten weeks while the work is carried out.
The Department of Transport says diversions are in place through Governor's Bridge, and there is expected to be heavy congestion in the mornings and evenings.
