The Department of Infrastructure says a number of roads on higher ground across the Island will remain closed until at least midday today.
The Mountain Road is shut, although three gritting teams working with a snow blower tackled some of it yesterday.
Mechanical diggers have been helping at Beinn-y-Phott and Sulby Glen but they – along with Injebreck, Brandywell, the Sloc, and Round Table will be assessed later today.
The DoI says efforts will continue to open these roads as quickly as possible, and the department’s thanked the public for their patience.
