Works to last up to six weeks
Delays are expected in the capital for the next month as a large roadworks scheme begins.
Traffic light replacement, resurfacing and line painting is being carried out on Lord Street in Douglas, between its junctions with Athol Street and Quine's Corner.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation from this morning for the next six weeks.
Pedestrian crossings will also be out of action.
The Department of Infrastructure is apologising in advance for any inconvenience caused.
