
A 38-year-old man charged with robbing a Douglas jewellers will appear in court this morning.
Michael Bergquist, of no fixed abode, is accused of committing a robbery at RHS Jewellers on Prospect Hill 11 days ago.
He has not entered a plea on the robbery charge, nor on an offence of taking a vehicle without consent, which it is alleged he committed on May the ninth.
However, he has admitted having no insurance and failing to meet the requirements of a provisional driving licence.
