Yellow warning continues as cold snap persists
The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a new yellow weather warning for frost and ice across the Isle of Man.
It is in place until 3pm tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, 13 December).
A widespread frost is expected to develop again this evening and tonight with road temperatures in many areas falling below freezing.
Frost and ice will therefore form on untreated surfaces especially where wet from earlier showers.
As a result of the icy conditions today, police have dealt with a number of road traffic collisions.
Noble's Hospital has been busy today, with people being directed to Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital as an alternative.
