The warning remains in place for four hours
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping which comes into effect from 11am today (28 September).
Forecasters say strong southwest winds will continue to affect the Island from roughly 11.15am.
Areas likely to be at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown promenade, northern and central parts of Douglas promenade, Laxey and Ramsey promenades.
Minor overtopping of waves and risk of debris in exposed areas remains likely until 3pm.
