A Manx roofing company's warning people to make sure the company they're using for building work is reputable before booking them.
Charlie Dee Roofing Services Ltd says it's seen an increase in the number of people having 'dodgy' works done on their properties.
Some of its customers are now thousands of pounds out of pocket after falling victim to scammers.

- They're qualified
- They have before/after pictures of the work that's being done
