Most difficult space exploration missions ever attempted
There’s a chance to hear from a space scientist today about how he helped a probe land on a comet.
Dr Andrew Morse of the Open University will give a talk to the Isle of Man Astronomical Society at its Observatory in Foxdale from 8pm this evening.
His talk, entitled “The Rosetta Mission – landing on a Comet” will describe one of the most difficult space exploration missions ever attempted.
Dr Morse will also visit Castle Rushen High School this afternoon (Fri) to talk to students.
