With World Polio Day taking place today (Fri) there are a number of ways the Isle of Man is marking it.
The 'Wedding Cake' building and the Tower of Refuge will both be lit up, as the Rotary Club's plans for the day this year focus on raising awareness.
Globally, the charity is committed to trying to eradicate the disease.
A more lasting element of the local awareness campaign is the partnership with the Manx International Football Alliance which has been announced.
