PPE and social distancing required
Dentists on the Isle of Man are now able to see routine patients again.
Restrictions had been in place due to the current Covid-19 lockdown.
People who are considered a low Coronavirus risk will be able to receive dental treatment if appropriate PPE and social distancing guidelines are followed.
Those deemed high risk will follow the AAA approach – advice, antibiotics and analgesia – until their risk profile drops.
The department of health and social care says dental practices must leave around 20 minutes between patients depending on the number of air changes required.
