Friday afternoon times unavailable at some practices
Routine appointments will be unavailable at some GP surgeries on Friday between 11.30am and 6pm, as doctors across the Island undertake their quarterly training session.
In a press release, government advises anyone who needs to see a doctor urgently to ring their surgery and book with the on-call GP.
It says that may not be available everywhere, though.
Meanwhile, practices will remain open during the afternoon for patients to collect test results, make future appointments, and order repeat prescriptions as normal.
