
Next year’s Royal Agricultural Show will be bigger and better than ever, its organisers have vowed.
This year’s show was due to have taken place this weekend but was cancelled because of the foot and mouth disease outbreak in the UK.
But show secretary, Christine Pain, says public support has been overwhelming and the committee now has its sights set on next year.
She says the event, which is the highlight of the Manx agricultural calendar, will have a very special celebration in 2008 (audio file attached):
