Claire Wells says meeting The Queen is a 'once in a lifetime opportunity'
Douglas Council says planning for a royal visit has been in the works since city status was granted in 2022.
The capital was announced as one of eight new cities as part of Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee celebrations.
Today (20 March) Queen Camilla will present the ‘letters patent’, which confers city status, before unveiling a commemorative plaque.
