Retired police officer comes to Bebe's aid
A runaway Dachshund is counting his lucky stars after being rescued from a flooded quarry.
Owner Melanie Kermeen had been feeding her chickens when her dogs Bebe and Lulu disappeared.
Lulu arrived home the next morning with dust on her paws - which led rescuers to a nearby disused quarry where Bebe was spotted, trapped on a ledge.
Retired police officer, and experienced open water swimmer, Juan Kinley entered the water to go to Bebe's aid as Melanie explains:
