Figures revealed in Tynwald this morning
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed the Liverpool Ferry Terminal is costing the public purse more than £710,000 each year.
That figure is expected to rise with inflation, while additional service charges are forecast to increase in line with UK RPI.
Part of the annual cost includes a contingency fund for unforeseen circumstances.
