19th event will take place on the Isle of Man
The Isle of Man will host the 19th International Linguistics Olympiad this summer.
It will take place from 24 to 30 July with around 36 nations expected to take part
The event marks the first time the Island has hosted the competition which attracts players from around the world.
Organiser, and Manx language officer, Rob Teare says while the conflict in Ukraine is ongoing there will be no Russian participation:
