Chief Minister says it follows 'comments in the media and Tynwald'
The sacking of the Isle of Man’s former health minister has been referred for investigation.
The chief minister has written to the Tynwald Standards and Members Interest Committee.
He’s requested it looks at the dismissal of Onchan MHK Rob Callister from the post following ‘comments made in the media and Tynwald’.
Alfred Cannan says the committee will determine whether there’s been any breach of the required standards and code of conduct for members of Tynwald.
The members being looked into are: Mr Cannan, MLC Tanya August-Hanson, MHK's Michelle Haywood and Joney Faragher and Mr Callister.
The investigation will cover the period of Mr Callister's appointment, on 16 September, to this month's Tynwald sitting on 15 November.
